A few weeks ago, I attended a lovely media presentation at the Mandarin Oriental hotel for the launch of SOAP.com, a sister site of DIAPERS.com. I was really excited to see what else DIAPERS.com had in store for us, as we are loyal customers of the popular baby product site. Living in the city (without a car) has nixed our shopping trips to Target, Costco and the like. DIAPERS.com has been a God-send for us.
DIAPERS.com was founded by two guys, Marc Lore and Vinit Bharara lifelong pals (both of them are fathers), from New Jersey. They literally started the company in the garage of a stay-at-home mother, Gina DePaol0, and watched it grow into a multi-million dollar company within five years.
SOAP.com is the largest online specialty store for health, beauty, personal care and household essentials. With over 25,00o major name brand products at 25% less than drugstore prices, they offer overnight delivery to over 70% of the country. I even found the my highly coveted Bumble&Bumble hair products (which I usually have to trek to Bloomingdales to purchase! Imagine my delight!).
The best part for me is that the two sites are directly linked. You can head on over to either site, fill two baskets and proceed to ONE checkout. The purchases from both sites can be combined into one free, overnight shipment (two days at the most). Like most busy parents, I don’t have a lot of time online, or shopping at all for that matter. The fact that I can head over to one site and grab my diapers, wipes, toilet paper and shampoo is crucial.
I’ve had fantastic experiences with their customer service as well. One day, I received my order of Burt’s Bees baby bath gel and diapers, and the soap had exploded all over. I hopped on the internet, sent customer service at DIAPERS.com an email and the next day I received a new shipment of soap. For me, the customer service department of any business will make or break the experience for me. I’m happy to report that I’ve had only seamless interactions with SOAP.com and will continue to shop there.
In honor of the launch of SOAP.com, I am giving away a $50 gift certificate to one of my lovely readers!

I like how you can still use coupons by mailing them into them! I have always had a great experience with them too!
I love how they’ve merged both diapers.com and soap.com into one account for consumers. I’ve shopped at diapers.com and was happy to hear that I can use my same account information to start shopping at soap.com with everything going into one shopping basket. Fantastic feature!
The best part is you get to pick your box for delivery. Soap.com box or Diapers.com box. Great web site, I will use it instead of Drugstore if delivery is smooth. Thanks Jess.
I love the eCoupons. And it’s cool that they take “real” coupons but it’s a bit cumbersome in how you have to do it. I also love the uncluttered look of the site.
Hi; i really liked that they had automatic coupons for all kinds of things. Furthermore, i found out that they were giving away Yes-to-Carrots lipgloss, after i had already placed my order; i called customer service, and they added the free gloss to my order without any extra cost at all. I haven’t had this much fun shopping online before!
I love that you can use diapers.com and soap.com and add them into one box to ship. It’s a one-stop-shop!
This is great for those times I just don’t want to get out of the house with kids and go to the store for odds and ends. I love all the brand name stuff they have like Seventh Generation. I would totally treat myself to Bumble and Bumble Shampoo if I won.
I really like the “Seasonal Picks” section for those things that you don’t always need but when you do..you need them NOW.
Thanks for the giveaway!
*I* love that they call the vibrator section “instruments of pleasure”. Amen Soap.com. Amen.
I really like the vast selection of natural and organic items. Yay for the selection of Mrs. Meyer’s products without having to go to several stores!
I love that Soap.com carries the POPBeauty line! I just ordered more of their stuff and can always add to my collection!
I love the natural selection – I don’t feel like I can really find what I want at our local grocery, and Whole Foods isn’t totally convenient to our house…which in the end, might just be a good thing!
I appreciated the fact they carried major brands, accepted mailed in coupons AND super convenient ecoupons (readily available and posted to their site, no less), and offered free two day shipping for orders over $49. I’m also a fan of diapers.com, so I like the fact this is both sites rolled into one.
Soap.com has the fastest shipping! Love.
I like that they have Charlie’s Soap. It’s next on my list to try!
I love that they carry Charlie’s Soap at a decent discount! That’s hard to find locally for a lot of people, and it’s the best eco-laundry solution IMHO.
I live in a four story apartment building w/ elevator. Deliveries from other companies are left in the lobby. I love that my diapers.com boxes are always delivered to my door so I don’t have to make that walk and try to carry the box back with my toddler in tow.
I like that Soap.com has a relatively large selection of NATURAL products; a niche most big box stores forget about.
Thank you for the chance!
I like that I can combine my soap.com and diapers.com orders into one so I can still get free shipping without having to spend $49 twice!
I also like that they offer 15% discount to new customers with referral codes – mine is diaper15.
We’ve been loyal Diapers.com users for about a year now and now love Soap.com too. As a military family currently stationed in a tiny town, I have to do most my shopping online and Soap.com has most all my favorite products. I also have two kids under two so they take up all the room in the cart so it’s especially nice to order bulky stuff like TP and big packs of paper towels and have them delivered to my door!
I have been a loyal diapers.com shopper since my daughter arrived almost a year ago. I love that I can shop at soap.com & diapers in one order. Soap.com has a great selection of products, I won’t need to go to the beauty supply store for my devacurl shampoo anymore.
One thing I love… I can’t pick. I love the wide selection. I love the quick shipping. I love that you can send your coupons to them and use ecoupons. I love that they merge both shopping carts
I LOVE using diapers.com. I have yet to use soap.com but I recently got a coupon via email from them and can’t wait to use it. I like the layout of the site and how easy it is to find what I’m looking for. I definitely can appreciate the ease of shopping on both sites and how fast everything gets to us! I nanny for a family too and we use it ALL the time. Definitely a great combo for soap.com and diapers.com!
I love both sites!! And like you said, I’ve had excellent customer service experience during all hours of the day/night. I’m a single mom so it was especially difficult to take a newborn (who can’t sit in a cart) to the store to get diapers, I fell in love with the site then and still use it and now the new one. I love all the discount sales and eCoupons that came with the launch of soap.com and I love the new layout and how I can shop both sites at once.
We love the natural and organic section of the site. Very convenient shopping for our favorite organic products!
moroccanoil! enough said. that stuff rules and can be quite hard to find!
I used it the other day- it was great how you could combine the orders from both sites and just pay one lot of shipping (or not, as in my case!)
Free shipping!!!
We will be using this in the near future as our first baby is due in November!
I love the one account for both sites, and the fact that EVERYTHING you could possibly need is there. I think the best thing they offer, always, is the free shipping for orders $50 or more. It makes me spend more when I only really need a couple of things, which is good for them, and you also can’t beat the next day delivery. Love the new site.
As a Newbie, I am always searching online for articles that can help me. Thank you
I love the layout of the website. It’s so easy to find everything!
Thank you so much! I’ve been visiting the blog but never thought to check the giveaway post for the winner, just assumed it’d be e-mailed or I lost. But I’m so excited! I just got my order in yesterday from the site and I can’t wait to shop them again!
I LOVE this website soap.com. I recently placed an order for Alcis cream. This product is hard to find. Plus you got 50 percent free. Free shipping and 20%off for new customers. I placed my order on August 29th. I received my order today August 31st. I will definitely shop here again. For promo codes Google promo codes for soap.com.
