My life is full of blessings. Of this I am aware and grateful.

This month, one of the coolest things ever happened for me.

On the last page of the March issue, New York Family Magazine- where I occasionally contribute- printed a profile that I wrote about my story titled “Bursting the Bubble”.

It’s been a dream of mine to have my writing published in print, and while this isn’t the first time for NYFM, this was definitely the first time an article was ever published about little ‘ol me.

I never thought that dream would ever come to fruition, but I never seriously doubted it either. I’m hoping that maybe, just maybe this isn’t the last time.

I always thought I knew what I wanted to be, but for some reason I never entertained the idea of actually writing professionally. Now, I’m nowhere near that point, but I’m going to go ahead and dream a little further and see where it takes me.

Sometimes-often times- it takes a little longer in life to really find what it is that makes you happy.

I’ve gone ahead and filed this under “Pinch Me, New York”.
