I have to say, I would love to keep this for myself… I am a soon-to-be mom of twins, and I also have a soon-to-be two year old at home… I love the simple beauty of this necklace.. If I could, I would also give the necklace to one of my best friends as she is pregnant with her 2nd child and she has just recently finally been able to hear her daughter say “mama” Her daughter is almost 3, but due to being very early she has had a trach tube in and they have just recently within this year started to size it down. I know she is just excited she actually has to tell her daughter to quite down sometimes… 🙂

Gorgeous. I was due 3 days ago and all I can think about is the mystery of motherhood and this inexplicable, amazing connection with your child everyone talks about. I admit I’d keep this for myself to honor the spirit and relationship I want to build with my first child. Hopefully I can pass it down to her one day.

Being a mama I honestly cannot remember the last time I bought something for myself. My husband spoiled me last year on my birthday and gave me a beautiful necklace with our daughter’s birthday (5-14-09) and her birthstone. It was an arduous pregnancy to say the least so this necklace had a deep meaning. I wore it every day until one day I looked down and it was gone. I have been grieving it ever since – not the material aspect of its loss but the fact this was a gift from the man I love honoring our daughter. This Tali Gillette Mama Necklace would perfectly fill the void of my lost necklace and make me feel ‘spoiled’ once again.

I’ve always hesitated to purchase something like this for myself or to ask for a mom’s keepsake. I suppose the reason is because I’d been hoping to have another little one to complete our family. But after several losses and failed attempts I do believe we’re making peace with it all. One child THE blessing among all blessings. To finally have a piece of jewelry – a complete circle – would symbolize and commemorate where we are and to celebrate our dear daughter. Thanks for the opportunity MGC.
