One of my New Years resolutions was to get back into shape after having our third child in the middle of December. My pre-baby body was never in the perfectly toned shape that I have always wanted it and honestly probably never will be-but that’s ok with me. I would ideally like to get back to that place where my pre-pregnancy clothes fit though, and I realize that it will be a while before that happens. I wish I could say that I was ok with that, but the truth is I’m not. I’m impatient and I wanted my body back yesterday.
I’ve started a workout routine that I’m not very consistent about, unfortunately. It’s one of those things that I know I want to maintain, but just can’t find the time. Honestly, it’s a good week if I get in a couple of showers so I’m trying not to push myself too hard. My mind has wandered into the unhealthy waters of quick fixes like plastic surgery-something I would never do but always seems good during those times when my old jeans still won’t button in the morning. I know that I have a long road in front of me, but being that this is my third time around with the post-baby/breastfeeding weight roller-coaster, I’m going to try to be more patient.
I would, however, be lying if I said that things like CoolSculpting didn’t completely intrigue me.
Coolsculpting seems to be the quick and easy, non-invasive trick to slimming down without sweating off the pounds or going under the knife. Fat cells are frozen and eliminated in the completely safe, FDA approved and clinically proven procedure. It basically gets rid of the muffin-top and other frustrating areas that are so hard to trim down with regular diet and exercise.
“The system delivers precisely controlled cooling to target areas and eliminates fat cells in those specific areas of your body. When fat cells are exposed to cooling, it triggers a process of natural removal, which gradually reduces the thickness of the fat layer…The dead fat cells are broken down and digested by the immune cells in the body.”
Looks pretty good, doesn’t it? I’ll most likely be hitting the gym and counting my calories again in no time, but this will give me something to think about when my pants still won’t button!
If you want to try it, enter to win a Coolsculpting procedure valued at $1,500 here. One winner will be chosen over the 14 blogs participating in this campaign with Getting Gorgeous. You have to enter using the form or your entry won’t count.
