Spotlight on Tea Collection (Giveaway!)

IMG_2174

As my children get older, finding clothing for them has changed. It’s fairly easy to find cute and decently priced baby clothes, and with as fast as they grow out of them it’s not nearly as challenging. I didn’t expect that across the board I would have an easier time finding boy clothes that we both like and a nearly impossible time with girl clothes- especially as she gets older.

I’m very picky when it comes to what my kids wear… As much if not more so than the clothing I wear myself. At a certain point in my life, I realized that I wouldn’t be using my education in fashion design and merchandising for a career, but it is pretty clear that I do still have quite a passion for it. I care about the quality of the pieces that they wear, and I care what it looks like.

This all means that when I do find a brand that I like, I’m fiercely loyal. If the clothing looks great even after several washes, and it doesn’t take any real fussing on my part when it comes to laundry, I’m willing to spend more-especially if the pieces are easily interchangeable.

Of course, the clothes have to be super cute, too. Not too sweet, not too grown up, not trendy and not overproduced.

Enter Tea Collection.

This brand has completely surprised me in the best way. The pieces are vibrant, super soft, unique, and exceptional in quality. My very favorite part about the line though, is they all find a way of matching each other-which makes it easy when I’m struggling to get three little kids dressed for school and out the door by 8:00 AM every day.

These top photos were taken just before Zoe went to preschool. The photos below were taken as part of a holiday shoot. That is what I really love about this collection-it all looks nice no matter what we’re doing! Parenthood always appreciates versatility.

Tea Collection was founded in San Francisco (another reason why I love them-my babies have been wearing it since day one since easy to find it in the Bay Area), and each collection is inspired by an international location and by the essence of travel itself.

The fabrics are unbelievably soft, don’t shrink, and are pretty accurately sized. You always know when you order what you’re going to get.
