At the petiteParade with Stride Rite (spon)

One of my favorite annual events in the city features two of my favorite things: Children and Style. PetiteParade is one of the cutest children’s fashion shows that I have seen, and this year Stride Rite made a splash amongst the likes of Miss Bluemarine, Pale Cloud, Diesel and Target.
Jack’s very first shoes were from Stride Rite. As a new parent, I wanted a brand that I could trust to properly support my baby’s first steps. Typically known for it’s sensibility, Stride Rite is a brand that I now even go to for a stylish and well made shoe for all three of my children. Jack has worn a pair every year since he was born, and they only keep getting cuter! He’s now in a super cool pair of Spider Man kicks of his choosing.
Stride Rite opened their show pairing Keds with three adorable girls in Appaman’s Mod Suits-the same ones I featured the boys in for our holiday card photos.
The cuteness continued with their 2013 Medallion Collection including brands Saucony, Sperry and Keds. I personally loved seeing the neons and colorful prints and textures-they all were pretty versatile with different kinds of outfits, which is super important when you’re dressing (opinionated!) little people.

I personally would wear the last two-and so would my daughter. She’s been dying for us to find matching shoes, and it looks like we’ll be able to do that this fall! I have three pairs of Sperry Top-Siders from last summer that I absolutely love.
I’m happy to see there’s quality and fashionable children’s shoes out there that won’t break the bank. The team at the Stride Rite stores are always more than helpful when it comes to carefully fitting little feet, too-which is half the battle in my opinion.
