Momma Loves: New Baby Edition

Momma Loves, Momma's Gone City

Things have been pretty heavy around here, and whenever I start feeling suffocated I just want to do something mindless. So I either shop or turn on Bravo. TV watching hasn’t been much of an option since I’m working and mothering most of the day, so online browsing has been my go to. There are obviously downsides, but the ease of shopping online is not even remotely lost on me, especially when Amazon Prime is involved. I’ve ordered everything from nipple cream to lens cleaner to books and toys.

These last several weeks hunkered down with Miss Evangeline have been crazy wonderful, and there have been several things that I’ve especially loved having in my arsenal. I thought this would be the perfect (note: not sponsored) opportunity to share some things that have made my life easier or just better in some way.

The Puj Baby sink tub is so awesome and easy, and since baths are a vital part of our nighttime routine, the process has to be as seamless as possible.

I’d be lost without this ErgoBaby Wrap. I’ve had them for all four babies and they are my saving grace.

and PlanetBox lunch boxes because they inspire me to get creative, the kids love them, and they are helping us go plastic free in the coolest way.

and, for me:

I’m loving this sweet gift from Restoration Hardware, personalized with all of our names.

I’ve been living in my Belabumbum lounge wear, Bravado Designs nursing bras and of course yoga pants. I’m comfortable. And comfortable is happy.

  • What a beautiful necklace that you will be able to wear forever. Hope you are feeling better. Thanks for sharing with us.

  • I am so glad to hear someone else is singing the praises of Zutano clothes! They are so soft and very well made. They even had sizing to fit a preemie baby. Only clothes I found that did!

  • That necklace is exactly what I’ve been searching for. I love the combination of the two tones. I’m thinking of the smaller ring for mine and my hubby’s name and larger one for my son. And add on, if we’re lucky to have another. 🙂 Question: is that a small oval and a large circle combo?

  • Absolutely love you, your family, blog and photos! Always look forward to seeing a new post and you actually influenced me to start a blog also!!

  • What a great list – so many of which were wonderful with our babies (and some new things too!). Keep truckin’, mama. It’s so hard in the beginning (as you know)…it will get better, the sun will rise, and there will be a calm spread over your home (eventually).
