After teaching high school English for six years I am currently staying home with my toddler. Thus far I find motherhood to be joyously baffling.
My husband, daughter, rabbit, and I live in the Silicon Valley where I grew up. My days are framed with balancing all of the fun to be had with housework to be done, healthy food to be procured and cooked, and quality life items to be bought at a discount.

Raising her children mere blocks from where she was raised herself is not something Stephanie ever thought she’d be doing. But it’s something she now appreciates daily as she navigates Toronto with her three little ones in tow. Though she loves discovering new and wonderful places to visit, there’s also something so special about seeing her favorite (though in Canada it’s “favourite”!) childhood places through the eyes of her children. She, her husband, and their children live in a tiny two-bedroom house in the middle of the city. It’s squishy. But they like each other. So it works out just fine.
